Each of the Jardins du Marais’s nine buildings has its own small lobby area and is named after a famous French historical figure; the Eiffel building was actually the former workshop of Gustave Eiffel, engineer, architect, and designer of Paris’ best-known landmark, the Eiffel Tower.
